EngagedThinking was conceived in January 2005. Our first project has been to create a successful Italian-English Online Dictionary. Subsequent projects have been an online blog dedicated to Italian Language, Grammar, and Usage and a Word of the Day feature.

Our site started off slowly, with only a handful of visitors each day. Now we gone from only a few dozen each month to over 2,500 unique visitors each month, and that's just our online dictionary. Our Language and Grammar blog receives on average between 3,000-4,000 unique visitors, and, our newest blog, Parola del giorno, receives just over 1,000.

Our next project includes an online Italian Grammar and Reference site (IGUR), totally searchable with audio samples, exercises, examples from books and other online sources, images and possibly video. It will be a reference site, with minimal ads devoted to Italian Grammar. We hope to launch this site by the end of 2007.

We have recently created another online blog devoted to Italian literature and culture that will provide synoposes, bibliographies, glossaries on important literary works in Italian as well as information on Italian cinema, history and art.
